Who runs this service
Keys and Costs (pilot) is operated by TRA VILLAGE LAM DONG COMPANY LIMITED (CÔNG TY TNHH TRÀ VILLAGE LÂM ĐỒNG), enterprise and tax code 5801547019, Thon Phuc Tho 1, Tan Ha Lam Ha Commune, Lam Dong Province, Viet Nam ("we"). What we do not collect
- No accounts, no sign-up, no email addresses, no names.
- No cookies and no browser storage (no localStorage), no advertising or tracking tools.
- The postcode, price, date and options you type are processed only in your browser. They are not sent to our server and we do not store them. They appear after the "#" in the page address so you can bookmark a result; that part of the address is not sent to any server.
What is processed, why, and for how long
- Delivering the website (legitimate interests): our hosting provider Cloudflare, Inc. (processor) handles your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own standard data processing terms. We do not have access to individual request logs in this pilot.
- Anonymous usage counts (legitimate interests – knowing whether the pilot is useful): when you request a result, your browser sends only the word "start" or "complete" and the page language. If you press a "Coming soon" button, it sends only which planned product it was (for example "want_report"); nothing is sold and no contact details are asked for. If you arrived through a link carrying a short channel tag (for example
?src=forum), that tag is counted too, so we know which places send useful visits; it does not identify you. We store a count of these events with a bot/test flag. We do not store your IP address, postcode, price or any identifier. Counts are kept for the pilot plus 12 months. - Your postcode district file (e.g. /data/pc/SW1A.json) is downloaded from this site to show nearby sales. Which file was downloaded is not stored by us.
Other services your browser contacts
- planning.data.gov.uk (Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government): receives the map coordinates of the postcode centre (not the postcode itself) and your IP address, to return planning designations. Their own privacy notice applies.
- Environment Agency (environment.data.gov.uk): receives the map coordinates of the postcode centre (not the postcode itself) and your IP address, to return flood zones. Their own privacy notice applies.
- data.police.uk (Home Office / police forces): receives the map coordinates of the postcode centre (not the postcode itself) and your IP address, to return recent street-level crime counts. Their own privacy notice applies.
- OpenStreetMap tile servers (OpenStreetMap Foundation): receive your IP address and the map area shown, to draw the map. Their privacy policy applies.
International transfers
Programmatic access (not yet public). The same calculations may later be offered to software and AI assistants through an API. A postcode sent to it is used only to answer that request and is not stored or logged by us.
We do not move personal data to Viet Nam. Cloudflare may process connection data in several countries under its standard contractual safeguards.
Your rights
You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object under UK GDPR. Because we do not hold data that identifies you, we will usually be unable to find any data about you, but please contact us. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
